A Sea Of Delight

You can define the colors

that surround me they bring

context for the things I do

so translate and analyze me.

My auroa it is calm, subdued

as I walk beaches in fading light

under a sad darkened moon.

I look to the sea for delight.

Its stare once gave me vigor,

now it makes me question all.

I have tried to solve my triggers,

come make me collapse to fall.

I was a lover akin to a friend

in a quickened love from pieces

of a soul brought together again

by a grin I think of again it eases.

Nature has beauty but you define

its meaning and give me purpose.

When alone I take a sip of wine

to bring peace up to the surface.

Inject yourself into my mind

with a passing smile I need

please see I am so damn blind;

life turned me a different breed.

I think not of carnal pleasures

as my thoughts drift about you.

We are birds of the same feathers,

raging weather we get through.

Let us fly in unison some flock

to become, under the yellow sun,

people who together can talk;

so I can worship you stunned.
